🌸 Saturday well spent 🌸

I’ve been down at the allotment today – emptying beds, moving plants, and picking plenty of tomatoes 🍅. There’s something so grounding about getting stuck in with the soil, even when it’s hard work.

And the reward? Coming home to the most delicious homemade tomato & basil soup, paired with fresh buttered bread 🥖💛 You really can’t beat organic, home-grown and home-made food – full of love, flavour and goodness straight from the earth.

Feeling grateful for the simple things 🌿✨

Happy Sunday beautiful souls 💜

I had a little lie in this morning because Sundays (for me anyway!) are all about rest, relaxation, and slowing right down 🌸

The kettle’s on, the dogs are curled up, and later I’ll be in the kitchen baking some homemade doggie treats 🐾 (because Doris and Bella wouldn’t forgive me otherwise 😂).

To be honest, they’ve recently decided carrots are no longer good enough 🤦‍♀️ so since I’ve been making their food for a while now, today we’re upping the game. Pampered poochies they truly are… or maybe I’m just the doggy skivvie tied to the kitchen 😂🐾

Sundays are for nourishing the soul – whether that’s a cosy nap, a walk in nature, or simply doing nothing at all. Give yourself permission to just be today 🌿
