The Rapid Response Team is pleased to be recruiting an ACP to deliver NHS England's Community Agenda

We have a well-established integrated service and are now seeking an additional Advanced Practitioner to join us supporting people in their usual place of residence during a crisis.

Crisis may be due to a clinical condition which is a new or acute problem such as infection, an exacerbation of a chronic condition or a social crisis such as breakdown of unpaid carer arrangements causing an immediate health risk.

The Rapid Response Team provides an alternative pathway that will treat people at home where it is safe to do so to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate early safe discharge.

Are you a rehabilitation assistant with an interest in stroke & neurological rehabilitation, and looking for a supported opportunity to develop your career? We are looking for you in our evolving Integrated Community Stroke & Neurorehabilitation service!

This is a band 3-4 position, the successful candidate will start as a band 3 and transition into band 4 either upon successful completion of competencies or following completion of the assistant practitioner course. The course is run through UCLAN over 24 months, and has specific stroke and neuro modules with a September only intake. Completion of this course is mandatory for the role.

You will be required to take part in delivering a quality Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy & Speech & Language Therapy service under the supervision and guidance of qualified Therapists. You will also work clinically alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative therapy for people who have sustained an acquired brain injury, have a neurological condition or have had a stroke.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, competent interpersonal skills and and have an ability to engage & motivate service-users. They will need to be able to work autonomously, demonstrate good problem-solving skills & be a team player.

An opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to join our busy, demanding clerical team working in the Imaging Department.
You will be motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
The maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential for this role.

You should have a proven record of working within a clerical environment, having undertaken first line administrative responsibilities. You should have excellent IT skills.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Ward Based Pharmacy Team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed Registered Pharmacy Technician with excellent communication skills to join our patient-centred Pharmacy team.

Applicants must hold their NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy services or equivalent recognised qualification, and must also be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council UK.

Newly qualified pharmacy technicians will be employed at band 4. A progression plan will be implemented to allow necessary in-house competencies to be achieved. Successful completion alongside visible display of necessary behaviours in line with GPhC standards for pharmacy professionals will allow attainment of band 5 status.

Qualified technicians that wish to apply, but do not fully meet person specification essential criteria, are still encouraged to do so. All candidates will be reviewed before and during the interview process to assess their level of knowledge and experience. Previous experience within a hospital environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

The Community Frailty Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and forward-thinking individual to join our Administration team.

As part of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, we are a community service covering the Fylde Coast based across two sites, South Shore Primary Care Centre and Moor Park Health & Leisure Centre and support frail patients to live well and manage their Long Term Conditions.

The post holder will work as part of a Team alongside, a Consultant Geriatrician, GP's, Senior Clinical and Nursing staff.

Providing a high quality administration service, the post holder will be part of a wider Admin Team acting as a central point of contact for staff and patients. Having the ability to communicate effectively, work flexibly, adapt to change and use your own initiative is essential.

The role incorporates a variety of tasks including, using multiple computer systems e.g. EMIS, Hospital systems NEXUS/MAXIMS and MS Packages such as Excel and Outlook. Other duties include acting as the first point of contact for all calls into the Service, providing MDT support and compiling reports using Excel.

The role of the P.A will be to provide a high quality, efficient and professional personal assistant and administrative service to the Director of Operations and the Director of Finance, on a day to day basis, ensuring that they receive the support required to facilitate the performance of their roles and to deliver the efficient running of the organisation.

Main duties of the job

Managing the Director’s diaries to provide the most effective use of the individual Director’s time, the post holder will be capable of working to schedules and using their own initiative, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

As the prime point of contact for the Directors, the post holder will often need to ‘filter’ calls and must therefore have excellent negotiation, diplomacy and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a comprehensive, effective and efficient administration service, including co-ordinating and minuting meetings, composing and issuing various communications, including emails and letters and other general admin duties; and will therefore have excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with the ability to multi-task.

This is an exciting new role and the post holder will maintain, develop and promote the maternity digital electronic patient record (EPR) system and will play an important role in ensuring it is optimised to promote quality of care and meet developing needs of the service.

The post holder will support the Digital Midwife to ensure the EPR system fully supports all aspects of the maternity pathway. The post holder will work alongside clinical colleagues and other stakeholders to review the current and future clinical information requirements and the systems in place.
