Coming together as a team 💜
Our recent patch meeting gave us the opportunity to connect with our incredible carers, many of whom work independently out in the field.

It was a valuable chance to hear their experiences, listen to any concerns or complaints, and share important updates. We also made sure everyone was stocked up on PPE and had the tools they need to continue doing their amazing work.

We’re proud to support such a dedicated team, and moments like this remind us how important it is to stay connected. 🫶🏼

Our Care&Share Baby Bank is really short of hospital bags as we give several out each week so if you have any unwanted back packs or larger zipped bags please can you drop them off at Tarnside even a small flight case or holdall would do x thankyou x

After some time indoors recovering from broken ribs, Catherine finally enjoyed a lovely cup of tea out in the sun last week.

A Little Walk

Earlier, Peter was feeling very confused and wasn’t sure he was at home. So his carer, Prie, took him out for a walk around the neighbourhood. Along the way, they greeted some of his lovely neighbours and pointed out familiar spots.

By the time they returned, he smiled and said, “Yes, this is my house.”

Moments like these are a beautiful reminder of how powerful a bit of fresh air, connection, and reassurance can be.

Grateful for the little wins.

A Sweet Treat for a Sweet Lady! 💐🍰
This week, our carers treated the lovely Eileen to a truly special afternoon out — a little late Mother’s Day celebration, and one she’ll never forget! 💜

The day began with a beautiful afternoon tea ☕🍰 — dainty sandwiches, pretty cakes, warm cups of tea, and a whole lot of laughter. Eileen had the biggest smile on her face all day.

To make the day even sweeter, the team took her on a sunny stroll in the park, where she enjoyed not one, but two scoops of classic ice cream under the spring sun. ☀🍦 Because why not? You’re never too old for double the treat!

Huge thanks to the team for going above and beyond, as always!
