Every person we care for arrives with their own story, their own memories… and sometimes, their own special wishes.

For Lisa, that wish was simple but deeply meaningful - she wanted the chance to bake again. Baking had always been something she loved, from the smells and the mixing to the creating and the comfort it brought.

So our Head Chef, Stuart, helped make that wish happen. ❤

Ingredients were brought right to her room, and Lisa was able to weigh, mix and prepare her butterfly cakes herself. As she baked, she shared stories, reflected on her life, and smiled at being able to do something she loved one more time.

Later, Lisa shared the cakes with her family and friends, exactly as she had wished.

It's so important that the people we care for can keep hold of the little things that make them feel like themselves ✨

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that together we raised an incredible £4,179.85 for our 2025 Charity of the Year, Trinity Hospice!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us along the way — whether you donated at Santa’s Grotto, joined in or donated at one of our events, took part in our charity tombola, or contributed via our GoFundMe page. Every single contribution made a difference.

On March 31st, our Cleveleys Trinity Hospice Superstore has been open for a whole year! 🥳

Since opening, the store has achieved an amazing turnover of over £250,000 - all thanks to your donations, your purchases, and your support.

To celebrate, we’re hosting a Birthday Party, and all clothes in store on the day will be 50% OFF! 🎉

It's been a Mindful March here 😌✨

We’ve been taking time this month to slow down and look after our wellbeing here at the hospice. From mindfulness sessions and lunchtime outdoor games, to encouraging staff to get out for a walk, it’s been a lovely chance to re‑connect.

This week we even shared a granola station together and last week a harpist played for staff and patients, creating a moment of calm 💛

Working in a hospice means we give so much of ourselves every day, so Mindful March has been a gentle reminder that caring for others starts with caring for ourselves 🌿

Thank You Thursday 🧡

It was wonderful to join the St Patrick’s Day celebrations on Saturday night, and we were honoured to receive not one but two incredible cheque presentations. ☘

A huge thank you to Dennis Duignan, who has been the driving force behind fundraising for St Joseph’s and St Peter’s Church. Although Dennis couldn’t be there on the night, we want to give him an extra‑special mention for raising an amazing £2,475.88 for Trinity Hospice. Your dedication means so much to our patients and families.

We also want to celebrate the fantastic St Joseph’s & St Peter’s Ukulele Group, led by Ann Zammits, who raised an incredible £828.30 for Brian House from their Christmas CD sales. What a wonderful way to spread festive cheer and support local children. 🎵

The night’s photos feature Father Peter and one of our brilliant ambassadors, Jane Molyneux, proudly representing the Trinity and Brian House family.

Thank you to everyone involved for your generosity, music and community spirit.

We’re looking for top quality, pre loved nursery furniture to stock our dedicated children’s charity shop, Bambino by Brian House 💛
