Show your support for team Woodhouse Opticians!

For our flash charity this March both Lynsey and Steve are taking on HYROX Glasgow to support people living with cancer for Macmillan Cancer Support. Read their story below and please donate!

This March, we are taking on HYROX Glasgow to support people living with cancer for Macmillan Cancer Support.

HYROX is the fitness race that combines both running and functional fitness. We’ll be taking on a course of a 1km run followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

We have pledged to raise ÂŁ800, which could run the Macmillan Support Line for nearly an hour. We would be so grateful for any donations to help us reach our goal.

ÂŁ20 could provide one session of emotional support to a person living with cancer with a Macmillan Buddy.
ÂŁ39 could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for 1 hour.
ÂŁ60 could pay for 100 copies of our Help with the
cost of cancer booklet.

There are currently over 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It’s Macmillan’s goal to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, but they can’t do this without donations from people like you.
