Keep your eyes peeled for the ovarian cancer van. 👀 👀 👀

The van will be staffed by trained health ambassadors and volunteers offering:
🟠 Interactive ovarian cancer symptom checkers
🟠 On-site talks and Q&A sessions
🟠Signposting to local support groups and healthcare providers
🟠Literature from charity, Ovacome.

🌍🌟September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month 🌍🌟

Gynae cancer refers to different cancers that affect the female reproductive system. These include: Womb, Ovarian, Cervical, Vaginal and Vulval.

‼️☎️ Symptoms of ovarian cancer can be caused by lots of things, which can make it hard to diagnose. Please contact us if things don’t feel normal for you, or if any symptoms continue or get worse. ‼️☎️

You might notice your child struggling once they get home and sometimes this can lead to meltdowns😭

ℹ️🌟 Here are some simple ways to help your child unwind:
🍎 Have a healthy snack ready to fill empty tummies
💧Rehydrate with water or very dilute sugar-free juice
🤐Don’t expect them to share their day straight away
❓Try not to bombard them with too many questions
🪀Often, children just want parents to play with them after a tough day

ℹ️ Our Flu Clinics are on the system ready for you to book into, if you have had a text or call please use the opportunity to book into one of our three clinic days. ℹ️

Eligible for the Flu vaccinations:
🧒👶 Children aged 2-3 have been invited to attend from 1st September for their nasal Flu vaccine. 🧒👶
🤰🤰 Pregnant patients have been invited to attend from 1st September onwards 🤰🤰
🧑‍🦽‍➡️👴🧔All other eligible patients have been invited to attend in our October clinics🧑‍🦽‍➡️👴🧔
🤧💉 Any patient eligible for the COVID vaccine, will be offered this at the same time as their flu vaccine - you do not need to book a separate appointment. 🤧💉
