📢 Get Ready for the New Total Triage System – October 2025

From October 2025, all appointment and care requests at the practice will be managed through Patchs – the NHS online triage system. This will ensure every request is assessed by a clinician and patients are directed to the right care, at the right time.

✅ To continue booking and requesting care easily, you’ll need a Patchs account. Register now via:
• Our practice website 🌐
• The NHS App 📱

⚠️ If you’re not registered before October, it may take longer to access appointments, so please don’t leave it until the last minute.

👉 Don’t worry — if you can’t use Patchs, you can still make requests in person at reception or over the phone. Our team will help collect the information we need.

Registering only takes a few minutes and means you’ll be ready to go when the new system starts. Let’s make the change as smooth as possible together — sign up today! 💙

Small children aren’t being ‘naughty’ when they put things in their mouths. It’s a developmental stage they all go through.

Whilst most of this exploration is healthy, some household products can cause serious harm if swallowed.

That’s why the best way to keep your child safe from poisoning is to keep harmful products out of reach or in a lockable cupboard.

Sometimes, the barer, the better. This is certainly the safest way for your baby to sleep. 😴

Does your baby’s cot look empty? Are there no toys? No thick, bulky blankets or bedding? No pods, nests, or hammocks? Does it look not very cute or Instagrammable at all?

Good.

The safest cot for a baby is a clear cot. That means removing anything that isn’t essential. Babies need just two items in their cot:
- A firm, flat, waterproof mattress.
- Lightweight bedding or sleepbag.

This is because extra items could cover their face and obstruct their breathing. They may cause your baby to get too hot, which can increase the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). A clear cot may look bare, but it can save lives.
