☕🍰 at FCMS 🍰☕

Today we hosted our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning – with staff dropping in to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake, and most importantly, donate to a fantastic cause. 💚

We managed to raise over £400! A huge thank you to everyone who baked, brought, and bought cakes – we were spoiled for choice with so many delicious treats on offer! 🎂

Every donation helps support the vital work Macmillan Cancer Support does for people living with cancer.

Well done team – and thank you to everyone who got involved! 🙌

A woman has a 95% chance of survival when ovarian cancer is diagnosed early, more than double the average ovarian cancer survival rate.

So, we want you to - The ovarian cancer van will be travelling around Lancashire and South Cumbria, visiting local town centres and supermarkets. Next week's dates and locations are:

The Great British Beach Clean is more than just a litter pick. Every piece of rubbish collected helps protect marine life, and the data gathered helps tackle pollution at its source.🌍

📣 FCMS has been shortlisted for two categories at the UHUK Awards this year!

Social Impact Award - for our support of the Strive Fleetwood community hub project and their amazing achievements over the past 12 months.

General Innovation Award - this celebrates our Diagnostics team for their work in delivering ECG clinics in a busy sports arena in Greater Manchester which has improved patient access, convenience and outcomes - including a 75% reduction in waiting times!

The winners will be announced at the UHUK Annual Conference on 14/15th October! 🏆
