Illuminate is a Mental Health Practice, born out of my own experiences of working in mental health services for the past 15 years. I have personal and professional experience of mental illness and as such feel great compassion and dedication for the people that I have worked with and am completely committed to ensuring that people who are experiencing mental distress have speedy access to someone who can help.
This means that at Illuminate you can self refer and arrange an appointment within a week and access a truly holistic assessment and plan of care.
I am fully qualified as an Approved Mental Health Professional with post graduate qualification in Psychosocial Assessments and Interventions and have worked as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner for Blackpool Mental Health services. I am also a qualified Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years experience working with people with severe and enduring complex mental health needs, therefore I am also able to ensure that any identified social care needs will also be addressed by accessing relevant support.
