What a year!

Our fantastic team have delivered outstanding support once again, and been privileged to have supported so many wonderful Clients during this time.

As a Management team, we are so so fortunate that our amazing Team continues to choose to represent Village in the community. We will continue to do all we can to reward your loyalty and devotion to the wonderful Clients we support.

As part of this, our annual 'Performance Reward' cash bonus scheme has continued this year; our way of celebrating our Team being generally all-round wonderful people!

We all got together for the annual Performance Celebration earlier today, and it was extra special and festive as some of our team's mini-me's joined us too! It was a lovely afternoon of joy and laughter; thank for all who could make it.

Today’s Autumn Budget made no mention of adult social care.
No investment. No acknowledgement. No plan.
This comes at a time of:
❗ Record waiting lists
❗ Expanding clinical responsibilities
❗ Rising burnout and workforce instability

Meanwhile:
💷 £300m for NHS tech
🏥 250 new health centres
🪖 £1.5bn for defence
But £0 for care workers.

🗨️ “Care workers provide essential, skilled work every day, yet once again, they’ve been overlooked. This was a missed opportunity.” – Karolina Gerlich, Care Workers Charity CEO

📢 We’re calling for urgent action:
✅ A fully funded workforce plan
✅ Fair pay and recognition
✅ Long-term reform not just temporary fixes

We as a Social Care Employer will not stand for this treatment of our amazing workforce, we will not overlook our team!

So proud of our amazing team!
The family of one of our wonderful long-term Clients (who has now gone into long-term residential care) sent these beautiful flowers to the team today to thank all for our long-term support of such a lovely lady.
This lady's family have described our team as 'marvellous' and very kindly let us know that they don't know how they could have coped without our long-term support for all the years we were involved; those words mean so much to us all.
