🗣️ Left out of the Budget. Left out of the conversation.

Today’s Autumn Budget made no mention of adult social care.
No investment. No acknowledgement. No plan.
This comes at a time of:
❗ Record waiting lists
❗ Expanding clinical responsibilities
❗ Rising burnout and workforce instability

Meanwhile:
💷 £300m for NHS tech
🏥 250 new health centres
🪖 £1.5bn for defence
But £0 for care workers.

📢 We’re calling for urgent action:
✅ A fully funded workforce plan
✅ Fair pay and recognition
✅ Long-term reform not just temporary fixes

We as a Social Care Employer will not stand for this treatment of our amazing workforce, we will not overlook our team!
