Today our rescue team were involved in an emergency burst at a pumping station.

The job involved confined space working, controlled lifting, and close teamwork — all carried out with the right equipment, training, and procedures in place.

Utilising our specialist tripod and winch systems and the use of full PPE and exclusion zones, every step was planned to reduce risk and protect the team and ensure a safe successful repair.

Our Technical Rescue Team has been busy today in South Wales, supporting our client during the deep clean of a newly refurbished tank.

ERS deployed a dedicated three-person crew to oversee the operation and ensure the highest standards of safety and well-being for everyone on site.

Today we have had the pleasure of training the second batch of estates and safety teams from Cardiff & Vale University Health Board.

This is the start of a collaborative project between the the Trust and ERS in developing and implementing safe systems of work within the Trusts premises

🚨 Emergency Response in Action

Today, the ERS team was deployed on an emergency call-out to support a valued client concerned about a possible outfall collapse.

Our CCTV survey specialists quickly identified that while the pipe had suffered minor damage, it has not collapsed and remained fully operational.

Thanks to our technical access teams rapid response, we provided clear answers and peace of mind — proving once again that ERS delivers reliable, efficient, and safe solutions when it matters most.
