🚨 Support Workers Needed – Blaenavon / Pontypool 🚨
Calon Fawr Care is growing and we are looking for 2–3 kind, reliable support workers to join our friendly team.
Available roles:
⭐ Full Time Role
38+ hours per week
Days / evenings and every other weekend on a rota
⭐ Community Support Role
9am – 2pm | 3 days per week
Supporting one individual in the community
(Male preferred)
⭐ Saturday Role
10am – 4pm (times can vary) every Saturday
Experience supporting autism required
Must be outgoing and enjoy community activities
(Male preferred)

Due to the needs of our younger male service users, we are looking for a confident, reliable support worker – preferably Male– to join our growing team at Calon Fawr Care.
🕗 Shift pattern: 8am–6pm and 6pm til 9pm
📅 Includes weekend working (days only)
🚘 Driver essential
✔️ Care experience required
This role involves supporting an individual both at home and out in the community, so we’re looking for someone who is:
💪 Calm and confident
🤝 Professional with clear boundaries
🌍 Outgoing and happy to support social activities and community outings
🧠 Able to follow routines and care plans properly
❤️ Kind, patient and respectful
You’ll need to be comfortable encouraging independence, attending activities, and being a positive, steady presence.

A big shout out to the council workers in the land-rover and plough who helped myself and 2 carers this morning in Blaenavon, upper coed cae area. They went out of thier way to help us back down the hill.

It's been a hell of a morning getting to our service users this morning but we did it...a few skids, lots of cold feet, some giggles along the way but safe and happy service users!!!

Fab team work...casey, charlotte, claire, kim,leanne and kennah 😊

We're more than ready for spring now!!!
