National Sheep Association (NSA Scotland) and all its farmer-members want everyone to share in the iconic landscapes and beautiful countryside that sheep farming in the UK has played an integral role is creating and maintaining.

Farmers appreciate lots of people like their dog to enjoy the countryside with them, but as much of the UK’s rural landscape is maintained by grazing sheep there is always a strong chance you will encounter some while out with your dog.

Each year, NSA runs a campaign to raise awareness of the issue of sheep worrying by dogs. In 2026, the campaign will run from 30th March - 6th April.

This advice will help you and your pet have fun and safe days out without disrupting the important work of sheep farmers. You should also read this advice if you are a dog owner living in or near a farming area, as escaped dogs can be a real problem for farmers.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch of our NEW 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡 + Lamb Colostrum! We were blown away by the incredible support and loved seeing so many of you there.

Special thanks to our fantastic guest speakers - Ross Sibbald (Rumenco) , Jane Moodie (Nettex Agri) and Ann Van Eetvelt (Lurgan Sheep Vet) - for sharing their expertise at the Lambing Roadshow.

We are also grateful to RSABI for bringing their pop - up Health Hut and supporting the evening.

Lesley has officially achieved full R-SQP / RAMA status, meaning she is now legally qualified to prescribe and supply a range of animal medicines 🐑🐄

This qualification takes months of hard work, combining intensive training, study at home, and hands-on learning in store — and Lesley has smashed it.

We’re incredibly proud to welcome her as a fully qualified member of our Animal Health team, strengthening the expert advice we offer our customers every day.
