We would like to warmly invite all unpaid carers, veterans, and anyone else who would like a cuppa and some company to our next Surgery Coffee Morning on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at the Winterborne Whitechurch Village Hall 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Our Mid Dorset Primary Care Network Occupational Therapy Team will be there to give a short talk about home adaptations, such as making access easier or improving bathrooms. Our Surgery Health Champions will be there to chat about the local groups they run, and our Social Prescribing Team will be available to answer questions about local support and activities. We’re also pleased to welcome representatives from Help & Care.

Feel free to pop in and say hello, even if you can’t stay for long.

Tea, coffee, and cake will be available. We would love to see you!

Do you fancy trying some new crafting technique? Or just some company and a cuppa whilst you work on your own project?

Join some of the Milton Abbas Surgery Wellbeing Team at their next Craft Group on Wednesday 3rd June at 1.00pm at the Milborne St Andrew Sports Club Pavilion (DT11 0JA).

Craft material, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available at no charge but donations welcome to cover costs. No need to book, just turn up on the day - the more the merrier!

We will be running our annual flu vaccination clinic for our over 65yrs old eligible patients on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at the Winterborne Whitechurch Village Hall.

Please save this date as we would like as many of our eligible patients to attend; further details including whether we will also be doing Covid vaccinations will follow closer to the time.

⭐ Our Beginners Line Dancing group are on Mondays 2.30pm - 3.30pm at the Winterborne Whitechurch Village Hall

Are you an unpaid carer? Why not enjoy a relaxing day by the sea at a beach hut in Swanage - completely free of charge. Whether you’d like some quiet time for yourself or want to bring the person you care for, a friend, or a family member, this is your space to unwind and recharge.

The scheme was trialled last year and was such a success that it has been extended for another year. But it needs to be used - otherwise we may lose it.
