Carers Rights Day plays a crucial role in increasing awareness about the challenges faced by carers and to help carers get the support they need. The theme for this year is “Know your rights, use your rights”.

You might not see yourself as a carer – often we just help family or friends without thinking twice. But if someone relies on your support due to illness, disability, age, mental health, or addiction, you are a carer.

If you haven’t already, please let the surgery know if you care for someone. It helps us understand your situation and offer the right support and we can add this to your medical record. See our carer's page on our surgery website for more details https://www.masurgery.co.uk/carers-page

For all your caring and for all your caregiving – thank you!
