In May 2025 our family’s world turned upside down when my beautiful granddaughter, just 3 years old, was diagnosed with leukaemia.
Watching such a small child face cancer is something no family is ever prepared for. As a grandparent it broke my heart, but it has also shown me just how brave and resilient children can be.
During this incredibly difficult time, charities like Abby’s Heroes have been there supporting families facing the unimaginable. That’s why I’m fundraising to help raise awareness of children’s cancer and support the amazing work they do for families going through this journey.
