So much exciting news to share at the moment!

It's so important to us that the space at Kites Farm is all about healing. There are so many forms that healing can take, and it's individual for every soul. Our new venture is about providing a naturally healthy space for retired horses.

There have been many discussions on social media recently about what happens to our cherished, older horses when the time has come for them not to be ridden anymore and to enjoy a more relaxed way of life. I also know, from personal experience, that it's a very hard decision to make and can be heartbreaking for those that haven't got their own paddocks or space.

Horserenity CIC is designing a retirement track livery system to promote natural movement and choice for the herd. The design will, as closely as possible, replicate the choices horses have in the wild, which has been shown to improve both their health and welfare.

We will have room for ten retirement liveries at Kites Farm who will enjoy different terrain, choice of shelter and enrichment activities. They will be free to express natural behaviour and treated like the kings and queens that they are.
