7:41am Sunday 13th April.

Out a bit later today leaving the house at 7:03am. It’s a Sunday, so I drank my coffee slowly and looked at a couple of magazines in bed with Jude sound asleep next to me, head on my pillow, looking all peaceful.

Henna has been in her first two swimming spots, and we’ve reached the bridge. I felt like sitting for a while, so I’ve sat on the cold bricks with my legs hanging over the stream flowing below me. Smiley face sticker on my jeans that the kids stuck on me before bed.

Last Saturday I went to an amazing workshop with some incredible women, not for my work, just for myself. We did meditations for the four elements, we learnt EFT, trauma release, and cord cutting techniques to use on ourselves and loved ones. I then went back to Geri’s for a reading, which was very profound and powerful.

It’s taken me a good week to process last Saturday.

Today as I’ve sat by the stream I felt the urge to do some tapping and try and release the betrayal wound I’ve been carrying. A wound that has probably been around for generations, a wound that creates a pattern, a pattern that needs to be broken.

A message once told has been echoing in my mind recently. “….put your thoughts in the river and watch them wash away down stream.”

As I did the work a tumble of weeds came out from under the bridge. I kept tapping, and watched as it rolled, got stuck, freed itself, and meandered its way down stream until it was out of sight. Then other odd little bits and pieces followed.

There’s still work to be done, but it feels good to be making choices for me.

I continued to sit for another 10 mins just watching the world. Listening to the sheep on the hill, hearing the birds in the trees, a random duck flew out from somewhere, Henna just being a dog. It’s now 7:59am and my bum is cold from the bricks, so it’s time to go home for some breakfast.

Feeling super grateful for my wings around me 🪽

If you get a chance to try tapping techniques I highly recommend them xx

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about grand gestures from someone else—it can be the perfect opportunity to show yourself the love you deserve. Imagine gifting yourself a day dedicated entirely to your well-being: the kind of self-care that leaves you feeling refreshed, empowered, and truly appreciated. Make yourself your favorite food, pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages, light candles, take an Epsom salt bath, buy yourself a voucher for a massage, and book it. Simply invest in moments of peace and relaxation; you're worth it. This Valentine’s, make it all about nourishing your soul because the best love affair you’ll ever have is with yourself.

I’ve spent some time creating soul-nourishing packages for you to help you focus on self-care and get even more out of your massage.

Relax, Rejuvenate, and Balance
1.5 hours spent between the chair and couch. Start by sitting in front of the log burner for an Indian Head Massage. Indian Head Massage helps relieve tension in the head, neck, and shoulders. By stimulating specific pressure points, it may promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, ease mental fatigue, and boost energy and mental clarity. This massage also increases blood flow to the scalp, which may improve hair health and promote growth.
After your time in the chair, you’ll move to the couch for a full-body massage, followed by an energy-clearing Ayurvedic Marma Point Facial Massage to help restore balance and energy throughout the body, enhance your complexion, and release tension in the face.
For your full-body massage, choose your essential oil blend to infuse into my homemade Magnesium Butter, which I will use to massage you. The reason I love Magnesium so much is because it’s the relaxing mineral and is beautifully absorbed through the skin directly to the muscles where it’s needed most.
After your massage, let your intuition guide you and choose a crystal card to see what message the crystals have for you.
You will also receive a small bag of homemade Epsom salts—the perfect amount for a therapeutic bath, with full instructions on how to benefit the most from them.

A Little More About Ayurvedic Marma Point Facial Massage
An Ayurvedic Marma Point Facial Massage is a therapeutic treatment that targets specific energy points, or "marma" points, on the face and head. These points are believed to be connected to the body's energy pathways (called "prana" in Ayurveda). Here's what the massage can do for you:

Balances Energy: Stimulating marma points helps restore balance throughout the body, promoting a sense of well-being and harmony.
Improves Circulation: The massage encourages blood flow to the facial skin, which can enhance complexion, reduce puffiness, and give the skin a natural glow.
Relieves Tension: It helps release tension in the face, neck, and jaw, which can reduce headaches, eye strain, and facial tightness.
Boosts Lymphatic Drainage: The technique aids in detoxifying the skin by stimulating the lymphatic system, helping to remove waste and reduce swelling.
Promotes Relaxation: The Marma Point Massage is deeply relaxing, helping to calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote mental clarity.
Anti-Aging Benefits: Regular treatments can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as the massage stimulates collagen production and supports skin elasticity.
In essence, it combines beauty, wellness, and energy work to promote overall skin health and mental clarity.
