🤓Time to get your eyes checked?

Did you know you must able to read a car number plate from 20 metres away and have adequate fields of vision to be able to drive?

Officers will be taking part in Operation Dark Nights over the next two weeks to check drivers’ eyesight.

As the dark nights draw in, now is the perfect opportunity to check you’re fit to drive and if you have any concerns, reach out to your optician.

It is your responsibility as a driver to make sure your eyes are fit for the road every time you get behind the wheel.

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new OCT scanner!

An Optical Coherence Tomography Scan (OCT) is an advanced eye scan that allows us to capture an image of the different layers that make up the structures at the front and back of the eye. It can check for common conditions such as Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, Glaucoma, Vitreous Detachments and Macular Holes.
