Drinking water, pulling shoulders up to the ears, creates an automatic brake that can be applied to the four wheels (sides) of the brain. After about 2 or 3 minutes the thoughts are still there, but they won’t provoke an emotional reaction.

I’m moving into 2026 with a focus on your nervous system.
We can often feel shaky and uncertain at this time, not sure where to begin with our fresh intentions, which is why I wish to set your foundations.
My kundalini yoga series will help you reconnect with steadiness, clarity and inner space.
Each live session includes movement, breathwork, meditation, & relaxation so the practice can be fully integrated into your being. This is not about pushing or fixing - it’s about creating a supportive rhythm that your system can trust.

When the nervous system feels overloaded, I don’t try to fix it.
I slow down, often escaping outside, and meet it.
Chanting HAR while crossing the arms gets rid of your “junk”. It’s for your Nervous System and helps you to DO. Just what we need as we start a new year with so many good intentions. Best to start with some of these simple kundalini practices, particularly when you feel scattered or emotionally full. A balanced nervous system will ground you with steady foundations, an excellent base from which to fly.

Consistent, gentle practices like this are what gradually create more steadiness and clarity.

Reasons to be cheerful:

1. Living in a home that reminds me to read. By reading and writing we awaken, stay inspired and uplifted by our intuitive Self. As artificial intelligence increasingly creeps in, we are in danger of becoming dependant on machine rather than human. So read… trust your understanding, your gut and reasoning. 📖📚
2. Keep the door open. Welcome in the new and cherish all human relationships, from family to neighbours, strangers and friends. 🫂
3. Keep wellies close by, a reminder to get outside, whatever the weather. Spending time under a Limitless sky rather than a limited ceiling, expands your thoughts and horizons, reminding you of your infinite potential.☁️
4. Nourish your beautiful Self with warm cooked food. I do love a spicy vegetable soup 🥕🧅🌶️🧄🍅
5. Slowly remove the old layers to let the light in. A slow steady shifting of garden leaves yesterday revealed a hidden flower 🌸
