"I feel good and actually so proud" ❤️

10kg down 🔥

Nearly 6 inches gone from her waist 📉

Incredible results from Emily in the last 6 months! 😁

Emily actually approached me at a wedding after a few drinks and told me she wanted to work with me...

I took it with a pinch of salt because this happens all the time 😂

But true to her word, Emily got in touch straight away.

Like a lot of you reading this, Emily is a busy mum with a full time job and was struggling with her eating habits.

She already had a PT but there was no nutrition support.

You can train all you want but if you don't address your eating, you will never look and feel the way you want.

I provided Emily with both training and nutrition targets to hit and we spoke every week to make sure she was on track.

Emily took action and now she has the results she wanted.

If you're waiting for motivation, you're wasting your time.

Take action like Emily did and get started, 2026 could look totally different for you.

Amazing work Emily.

They're so good for you 🤷‍♂️

There is no track.

There is no "off/on."

It's a lifestyle.

Every year I know full well I'm gonna overeat on holidays, birthdays and Christmas.

That's life and I'm good with it.

The goal should be to reduce overeating for emotional reasons.

Same with skipping workouts.

If you overeat one day or miss one session it's not the end of the world.

Just reduce your turn around time and make the next choice a good one.

Don't waste time feeling guilty and telling everyone you just need to "get back on it."

Take action.

You need to push yourself in gym.

Going through the motions won't get the job done.

Your muscle needs a reason to stick around, so give it one.

You don't need a complex plan.

A simple plan with a ton of effort done consistently will build the body you want 💪

You may think this reel is boring but THIS is the stuff that makes a difference.

People either don't weigh their condiments or even track them at all.

Leaving HUNDREDS of calories unchecked.

Even milk and sugars in teas in coffee.

"Sounds like a faff" 🙄

First of all, it takes 20 seconds.

Second of all, you want the best results possible right?

So do what's necessary.

Even when I'm not tracking calories I weigh the stuff that's easy to overconsume if I'm not careful.

Do the boring stuff and get the best results 👊

I don't disagree with Billy at all.

My 24 hours as a full time coach, husband and Dad of 3 are VASTLY different to an 21 year old who lives at home and goes to the gym 5 days a week.

But...I DO have 24 hours.

And how I spend them is down to me.

Just because I have children and work full time it doesn't me I can never go to the gym or eat right.

It just means I have to be smart about it and plan ahead.

I train 3 days a week.

Tbf even if I could train every day, I would still choose 3.

I have a plan for what I'm going to eat pretty much every day whether I'm tracking calories or not.

I eat healthy food whether I'm dieting or not.

These things are very important to me and I see the value in them which is why I make sure they happen.

All is not lost because you're a busy parent.

We are helping clients inside Build with this exact problem.

2-3 workouts a week paired with a solid nutrition approach could easily result in 10lbs of fat loss inside 6 weeks.

If you want more info leave a comment below and I'll send you all the details 👊

How Albert lost 19lbs and 3 inches off his waist by eating…MORE CARBS?! 🍞🍚

Albert had already lost a considerable amount of weight before we started working together.

But he was struggling to go any further and even maintain his results because his diet was far too restrictive.

Albert had a phobia of carbs 😱

Which left him tired, unproductive and battling cravings every day ❌️

Which would eventually lead to epic blowouts that set Albert back even further.

Albert was a new Dad 🍼

Worked full time 💻

Was in the gym 3 days per week trying to build muscle and get stronger 💪

He needed more energy and focus than ever but his fear of carbs was hindering him.

I encouraged Albert to eat more rice and bread (foods he actually enjoyed) and far LESS protein.

From then on he started dropping fat, getting stronger and his mood improved 😂

I know…

Sounds totally backwards from most fitness approaches you read online right?

But that’s the power of 1 on 1 coaching and PERSONAL training.

The approach has to be the perfect fit for my client, not some generic one-size-fits-all plan you find online.

Most of the stuff you read is by people who have never worked with human beings, they just read studies and copy what everyone else is saying because it sounds good.

That’s not experience.

Let me know what you're struggling with and I'll do my best to help 👇

Wanna get really bored of the gym as quick as possible?

Go in without a plan!

Just wing it and see how you get on.

After a few weeks of no measurable progress you will be totally bored and unmotivated to continue.

❌️❌️❌️❌️

If you want to really make the gym more exciting, have some indicator exercises.

The ones you really want to progress on and track them each week.

This could be incline dumbell presses, chin ups, split squats and RDL's.

4 of my personal favourites.

Pick 1 or 2 for each workout and aim to progress each week.

Your lifts going up means you're getting better 💪

That is way more motivating than just doing whatever 🤷‍♂️

Yes of course effort matters.

Food quality matters.

Training hard matters.

But if your goal is fat loss, the ONLY thing that matters is calorie intake.

As harsh as it sounds, you're not owed results for working hard or "really wanting it".

Strictly speaking of fat loss here, your body is a machine...it's not emotional.

It'll store calories you overconsume.

It will use stored body fat if you're in a calorie deficit.

So, if you're not seeing results try to look at it logically and avoid getting frustrated and quitting.
