How I manage business, family and fitness one week at a time...

1. My passion hobby of pro wrestling came to an end...

After 20 years of matches (pic on the left fom my very first one) I had my last one.

It was an incredible day and I love wrestling...but I can't risk the injuries anymore.

2. My client is seeing some fantastic results!

8 weeks in and just over a 20lbs down.

This client won't LOVE being plastered over my social media but I am so proud of her commitment and determination πŸ’ͺ

3. My client Mike came to me about 3 months ago and would struggle with regular press ups.

Now he does sets of 15 with 20kg on his back.

Seeing someone show up and improve week on week is the best part of the gig 😁

4. Back tracking...

This year I did a 12 week cut and lost 15lbs...I talked about it on here a little but could have documented it more.

The last 6 weeks I've maintained my result but it's now time to hit another 12 week deficit and finish this year strong.

Should I document the whole thing?

Does what I do have value to you?

Ols took to it pretty quick and seemed to love it.

A weekend filled with family time and now some chill time with my love

Tomorrow marks the start of another week where I aim to be the best coach, husband, dad and friend I can while working toward being the best version of myself πŸ‘Š

So? Lol

You might be more hydrated which is a positive thing!

My clients weigh daily when their goal is fat loss.

We then take the weekly average πŸ“‰

"I don't have a clear goal...I just don't want to be like THIS anymore"

That's what Sue said to me when we started working together last year.

So the mission was "get out of pain."

Both physical and emotional.

Sue was a career dieter.

Never quite able to find a plan that worked for her long term.

And after a torn meniscus stopped her going to the gym, Sue's eating habits only got worse.

We started slow.

The fitness industry is...messy πŸ˜‚

It is filled with misinformation but also a lot of posts about "the grind" and "being optimal."

Ultimately setting some really unrealistic expectations.

By all means, if you want to be an absolutely shredded competitive bodybuilder...go for it.

There's a space for that.

It just aint me.

I like being confident with my top off.

But I also love FEELING strong.

Having the energy to play with my kids.

Being able to explore places with my wife.

Having some ice cream with my family without feeling like I failed.

My fitness routine is set up to enhance my life.

And that's exactly what I work on with my clients.

Creating a plan that suits them and their lifestyle.

Losing fat and transforming how you look is more to do with what you're doing OUTSIDE of the gym.

You can spend hours, sweating, blowing out your *rse and burning all the calories...

BUT if you then eat it all back with takeaways, office biscuits and evening chocolates you won't see results.

Couple that with poor quality sleep and you'll just end up looking and feeling worse.

I'm not saying you have to be militant with your eating habits.

(In fact I'll show you how to set up your nutrition for free at the link in my comments)

I'm all for some flexibility.

But you have to hit certain targets first, like your calories and protein.

First of all...

(Because I still get asked)

No...online coaching is not PT sessions via Zoom.

I offer two services.

Both 1 on 1 coaching.

One in person and one online.

There's always a debate (mainly amongst coaches) about which one is better.

One is not better than the other...

There's only bad coaching or good coaching.

My online coaching offers a way to work with me without coming to our facility

You'll have a workout plan done for you which you can do whenever you like at whatever gym you like.

You don't get the benefit of my incredible dad jokes and sarcastic wit though...

My clients love that.

You get all the nutrition coaching you need to see the results you want.

Whether that's losing body fat or just improving your habits.
