Manor House Residential Care Home is the penultimate home to join our organisation and is situated in the pleasant village of Blofield, approximately seven miles east of Norwich.

A Special Day at Blofield Church ⛪️

We were warmly welcomed at Blofield Church for a beautiful service, followed by generous refreshments and heartfelt conversations. It was such a joy to share memories and stories with the wonderful Blofield community. 🙏

We all had a truly memorable day and are so grateful for the opportunity to connect with everyone. Thank you, Blofield Church, for your hospitality, kindness, and warm welcome. 🌿

We were absolutely delighted by this lovely trip — something we truly missed during the winter months. Now that the sun has started to shine again, we’re so pleased to be able to visit our dear friends at Blofield Church more often.

A very big thank you to Louise and Cheryl for helping us with the transport, it is very much appreciated.❤️

A Well-Welcomed Visit from Mr Finch 🐾

We were delighted to welcome Mr Finch once again — he never fails to put smiles on all our faces!

Such a clever dog, Mr Finch amazes us every month with a brand-new trick. 🐶 This time, he truly wowed everyone, filling the room with laughter and joy.

Thank you, Mr Finch, for brightening our day once again! ❤️

🙏Church Service 🙏

This morning, we enjoyed our regular monthly Church service, kindly led by our local Blofield Church. ⛪️ As always, it was a meaningful time of reflection, heartfelt hymn singing, and sharing in communion.🤍

🥞Pancake day 🥞

Pancake day otherwise known as Shrove Tuesday is a special day celebrated in many countries around the world. Shrove Tuesday is the day before 40 days of Lent and Lent is meant to be a time of sacrifice, in honour of Jesus who spent 40 days fasting.

Today we celebrated Shrove Tuesday by making a feast of pancakes. What a delicious sweet treat this was for us all and how amazing to see everyone's favourite toppings from traditional lemon and sugar to jam and fruit. 🍓

Today at Manor House we celebrated Sheila 91th birthday 🎉

Happy birthday to a truly lovely lady from us all. Her family surprised her with beautiful flowers and cards, and everyone enjoyed a slice of the homemade birthday cake. ❤️ It was absolutely delicious! 🎂

Today we celebrated love with dancing, music, a glass of wine, and delicious homemade treats prepared by our talented chef. The home was filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of smiling faces.❤️

We enjoyed a spectacular lunch celebrating love, laughter, and friendship. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, delicious food, and wonderful company making it a truly special occasion for everyone. ❤️

😬 FRIDAY 13TH 😬

Fortunately, our residents enjoyed a wonderful day of activities with no unlucky mishaps! ✨

We had an amazing day yesterday at the local cinema to watch Downton Abbey (2019), a historical drama full of charm, elegance, and heart. It was a fantastic outing and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! 🎬

It was absolutely wonderful to see so many getting involved and staying active. ☺️

Keeping our residents engaged and moving is incredibly important to us, and we offer a variety of fun activities to support their wellbeing. ❤️

A Day Full of Warmth, Laughter, and Creativity! 🍕

Our home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious smell of freshly baked pizza! We had so much fun making pizzas from scratch, and what an experience it was! With traditional Italian music playing in the background, everyone’s senses came alive. The joyful chatter, the aroma of dough, pepper, garlic, olive oil, ham, basil, and cheese filled the air. It was truly a moment to savour.❤️
