🎉 Celebrating at Walsall Manor Hospital 🇦🇫🇧🇩🇧🇹🇮🇳🇲🇻🇳🇵🇵🇰🇱🇰

Today, Naresh (Volunteer), Naheed (from Palliative Care), and Kab (Volunteer) hosted a fantastic stall honouring this year’s theme:

📚 The event featured a special display exploring South Asian heritage and identity, now on view in our Palliative Care Centre for the rest of the month.

We were also proud to welcome the BAME Breast Support Ladies, who shared powerful personal oral histories.

📍 Be sure to visit the display and take a moment to celebrate the rich cultural roots that shape our community! 🌍

Come along to our Summer themed PEEP Storytime on Monday 21st July!
At the North Family hub, 275 Blakenall Lane, WS3 1HJ, From 9:30am – 11:30am.

You can take part in fun sensory play, rhymes, songs, stories, games and crafts!
You must have a baby under the age of 3 to attend (siblings are welcome).

The Summer Adventure Passport is now ready for your little adventurers — a vibrant new initiative designed to help children thrive and get school-ready during the summer holidays!

This exciting programme is full of playful, educational experiences that support children’s development, boost confidence, and prepare them for their big step into school or a new educational setting this September.

The Walsall Family Hub teams are delighted to be working in partnership with the Art Gallery, Voluntary and Community Sector, Library Services, NHS Health Visitors, Leisure Centres, Arts Connect, and the National Literacy Trust to bring you a summer bursting with activities!

Smokers attending Walsall Manor’s Emergency Department (ED) will now be offered support to help them quit, as part of a new initiative.

Walsall Council Public Health has commissioned Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust to provide evidence-based smoking cessation support to patients who attend ED and anyone who accompanies them.
