Evening everyone,

You'll notice that my business name has changed. Now that I've completed my MSc it was a natural progression.

I've made it more personalised as well using my initials as its just me and will continue to be my sole business.

Don't worry though when booking your appointment you will still receive the same great service just now with added knowledge.

Unbelievably proud to share that I’ve now “officially” completed my MSc in Physiotherapy with Merit from Teesside University.

It’s been a very challenging 2 years with blood sweat and literal tears at times through frustration and at times how stressful it’s been, being an older learner trying to juggle a business, a family and life in general all while completing a full MSc with placements has been no easy task.

I’d just like to say a massive thank you to my wife for putting up with me over this past 2 years and making me push through the hard times.

Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me as a physiotherapist.

A few photos from yesterday’s 2-0 win at North Ferriby. Felt like a long time since we last played a game of footie due to this weather we’ve had. It’s good to be back though.

Well that’s my dissertation results in and my MSc is complete!!

Looks like I’m now a fully qualified physiotherapist 😮

It’s been a hard slog (I’m sure you’ve heard me say) but it’s been worth it. Not to shabby for a lad that left school with zero worthwhile GCSE’s.

Just goes to show you can start late and don’t have to have it all figured out. Hell I’m nearly 47 and I’ve just finished my second degree.

It’s been 2 years of ups and downs, self doubt, wanting to quit and thinking that I’m just not good enough to do this.

I can now relax and take 5 mins to compose myself and look at the future as a physio.

Peace & love ❤️

Kev

Afternoon everyone,

I’m on the beg! 😂

If you’ve had a recent appointment with me or ongoing sessions would you do me a massive favour? If you get 5 minutes could you leave me a review following this link.

As you know businesses are built on reviews and word of mouth. Your reviews would massively help a small business.

All the love

Rotator cuff tendinopathy is a common overuse injury from repetitive overhead movements, that includes but not exclusive to: swimming, tennis, volleyball, or weightlifting.

💥 Tendons become inflamed and painful, and in rare cases, a tear can occur.
🎯 Most cases happen in adults 50+ due to age-related tendon changes.
👍🏻 Good news: guided exercise, physiotherapy, and education usually help, surgery is rarely needed.

✅ Pain ≠ damage. Staying active and rehab-guided is safe and effective.

Painful. Overused. Recoverable. 💪

A frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) occurs when the shoulder capsule becomes inflamed, thickened, and tight, restricting movement.

💥Most cases develop gradually, often after shoulder injury, surgery, or sometimes with no clear cause.

🎯Frozen shoulder is more common in women, affecting around 2–5% of adults, particularly between ages 40–60.

💥Symptoms include a dull, aching pain, often worse at night, with a progressive loss of range of motion.

👍🏻The good news? Frozen shoulder is self-limiting and usually improves with conservative care, education, and guided movement. Recovery outcomes are also similar between male and females.

🎯The condition typically progresses through three stages: freezing, frozen, and thawing.

💥Most people experience gradual recovery of pain and movement over time, even if progress feels slow.

✅Remember: pain ≠ damage. Stiffness and sensitivity are symptom driven, not signs of a truly “frozen” joint. Movement and rehab remain safe and effective.

Painful. Stiff. Recoverable. 💪
