Our manned gym/shop hours 💪

These are our rough manned hours for the shop and gym.

As many of you know, we’re currently running two businesses, working on gym upgrades, and juggling a busy schedule — so there may be times when these hours are slightly flexible. We will often also be around on weekends.

If the shop is ever closed and you’d like to purchase products, just drop us a message and we’ll get back to you and sort it as soon as possible 🙌

We’re very proud to have these incredible dumbbells, and unfortunately a lot of the custom laser-cut end caps have already had to be replaced.

I think we can all agree… nobody wants rubber dumbbells back 👀👀

Up early this morning for a trip to the Watson factory to collect our brand new counterweighted Smith machine (with built-in weight storage 💪).

Seeing the sheer scale of the factory — and knowing every piece of our equipment is hand-made right here in England — was an incredible experience.

This machine was something Rich had already set in motion before we took over, so a huge thank you to him for making it happen. While a Smith machine isn’t new to the gym, we hope you’ll really appreciate the quality and feel of this one.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on a few shop upgrades and decorating, all leading up to our opening day on Saturday 30th.

Member Shoutout 💪

Simon joined our gym in September last year with a clear goal: to lose weight and feel better. Starting at 22 stone, he’s now down to 17 stone — an incredible achievement!

Happy Monday! 💪

It’s a big week here at ProGym Bodmin — not only is it Rich’s final week before the official handover this Friday, but we’ve also got the return of the banana cake on Tuesday… and it’s bigger than last week 🍌🍰

As some of you might have already seen, Evie has been around during the day getting stuck in and starting to meet more of you all ahead of us taking over.

We just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Rich for everything he’s done for the gym, the community, and every single member who’s walked through the doors. He’s built something really special here and we’re proud to be continuing that.

As you’ve probably noticed over the last month, there have been a lot of visual changes happening in the gym — and we’re excited to announce that we’ve got two new pieces of equipment coming soon 👀

From next week, our manned hours will vary slightly. Evie will be in most days throughout the daytime, along with some evenings where we’ll both be training ourselves. Rich will also be popping in at times to suit him. We’ll make these hours clear each week so if you need anything, you’ll know when to catch us — and we truly believe these changes will benefit everyone.

We’re really excited to officially take over this Friday and start the next chapter with you all.
