Join Our Team: Activities Coordinator Needed for Residential Dementia Care Home

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a flair for creativity and a heart full of empathy? Chalcraft Hall is looking for an Activities Coordinator who can bring joy and engagement to our residents’ daily lives.

About the Role: As an Activities Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our home, providing our residents with a vibrant array of activities. Your role will include:

Planning and executing a varied activity program, from daily events to special celebrations.
Arranging external entertainment and organizing memorable trips out.
Spearheading our annual festivities, complete with raffles, music, and themed decorations.
Working closely with care staff to support our residents’ needs and enhance their quality of life.
Who We’re Looking For:

A confident, creative, and caring individual who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Someone with experience in coordinating activities within a care setting, particularly for individuals with dementia.
A flexible team player who can work part-time hours, including some weekends and preferably someone who will help the care staff should they require some support.
