πŸ’™ Partnership in Action πŸ’™
We're proud to celebrate our growing partnership with My Sister's House, supporting women in our local community.
Last week, Rebecca and Emily visited their Bognor office to receive a personal thank-you from their incredible team and explore exciting new ways to continue working together.
For the women they support, our practical support has meant greater warmth and security during the colder months, as well as access to vital digital resources for finding jobs, housing, benefits, and staying connected with loved ones.
Thank you to the team at My Sister's House for the warm welcome and for the vital work you do every day. πŸ’œ

Tomorrow is United Nations Day 🌍
For over 40 years, we've been dedicated to providing quality care that knows no borders or backgrounds. At Ashton Care Group, we are genuinely proud to support people from all walks of life with dignity, respect, and compassion. United Nations Day serves as a meaningful reminder that our shared humanity is what truly matters. Whether we're offering dementia care, mental health support, or helping someone maintain their independence, our focus is always on treating each person as a unique individual with their own story. Here's to building a world where everyone receives the care and support they deserve, with kindness and warmth in every step. πŸ’™

Last Thursday (October 17th) was the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. πŸ’™
It's a day that reminds us everyone deserves quality care, regardless of their financial situation.
This year's theme was about ending maltreatment and ensuring families get the support they need. That's been our mission for over 40 years.
Care should never be a luxury. It's a basic human right.

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day πŸ’š
We are honouring the strength, individuality, and achievements of the cerebral palsy community - 50 million people worldwide who inspire us every day. This year's theme is "Unique and United," reminding us why we do what we do: supporting people to live life on their own terms, not limited by others' perceptions of what is possible. To everyone living with CP, their families, and carers, we see you, celebrate you, and are committed to creating a world where everyone receives the care and support they deserve.

Yesterday was World Heart Day - a good reminder that wellbeing goes far beyond the physical.

After 40 years in care, we've learned that what truly matters is how people feel: valued, heard and genuinely supported. It's the everyday moments that make the difference - a kind word, a listening ear, being present when someone needs you.

Our team brings this approach to work every single day, because we believe quality care always comes from the heart.

Today is Bisexuality Day - a time to celebrate and support our bisexual community members. πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’—

At Ashton Care Group, we are proud to provide care that welcomes everyone, regardless of their relationship status or who they love. Creating safe, affirming spaces isn't just good practice - it's essential for quality care.

Every person deserves to feel comfortable being their authentic self, especially when receiving care during vulnerable moments. Our commitment to inclusion means recognising and celebrating the beautiful diversity of our community.

To our bisexual residents, service users, families and team members - you are seen, you are valued and you belong here.

Because when people feel truly accepted, they receive better care. It's that simple.

Today marks International Day of Sign Languages - a powerful reminder that communication is a fundamental human right.

At Ashton Care Group, we believe every person deserves to be heard and understood. Whether through spoken words, sign language, or any other form of communication, we're committed to breaking down barriers and creating truly inclusive care environments.

This year's theme, "No Human Rights Without Sign Language Rights", resonates deeply with our mission. Quality care means adapting to each person's unique communication needs, not expecting them to adapt to ours.

To our community members with hearing impairments - your voices matter, your stories matter and you deserve care that truly sees and supports you.

Inclusion has always been at the heart of how we care at Ashton Care Group.

This National Inclusion Week, we are strengthening that commitment, listening to our community, reviewing our practices and taking action. In care, inclusion is not just workplace culture, it's about honouring every person we care for.
