Whether you are the bride or groom, all eyes will be on you on your special day and you will want to look and feel your absolute best.

"I can't go out, I'll break my plan"

"I'll start training next month... there's too many birthdays"

Excuses. They're everywhere.... but what if we told you that you could have a social life and still stay on track with your goals?

We've rounded up our top tips to help you stay on track even when your social calendar is FULL this Autumn

- Go For Smaller Portions Eating at a restaurant? Why not split a dish with a friend and order some veggies or a salad on the side? Restaurant portions are often much bigger than a normal portion - and it's easy to overeat when you're busy talking with friends.

- Make It a Date - an exercise date. Why not head out on a walk with a friend instead of a coffee shop catch up? That way you get some extra steps in without even thinking about it.

- Drink 2 large glasses of water as soon as you sit down at your dinner or arrive at the bar. This will help make you feel fuller and perhaps prevent over ordering when it comes to the food.

- Meal Prep Like a Pro! When you're busy, it's easy to fall back into old habits and opt for convenience especially if you are trying to maintain. Prepare your meals and snacks to ensure healthy food is always easily available.

- Take your product with you and don't be embarrassed to say 'NO'. Your weight loss journey should be all about you.

Remember it's all about balance. You can still have your treats, but let it be a 1:1 Diet treat ๐Ÿ’™

Six months is all it took... step 1b then step 2. Viv didnโ€™t want to be fat at 50. Her 4 year old granddaughters had started to call her fatnan (hence the insta name ๐Ÿ˜œ) so she knew she needed to do something.

Viv has gone from a size 22 to a 14 - ten inches gone from her waist - blood pressure reduced - five stone down.

Viv turned 50 but says she certainly doesn't feel 50!

Viv has maintained for a few months and is happy at a size 14. She says it is amazing to wear normal clothes!

'Iโ€™ve still got a stone to go to get to target, now I feel ready, so have started TDR..'

'This diet is the best thing thatโ€™s happened to me in years - Iโ€™m 7 years menopausal too, but that hasnโ€™t affected my losses, so for anyone struggling, keep going, it will be so worth it ๐Ÿ’œ'

For all those struggling...(please always remember youโ€™re never alone!!!)

โœจCHOOSE YOUR HARDโœจ

Losing weight is difficult. Fact.

However, feeling unhealthy, tired, depressed and unhappy with your body is even harder. Fact.

Do you want to continue avoiding and missing out on life, or do you want be a participant and live life to the max?

Outside of ISO do you normally avoid the beach, swimming or nice occasions where getting dressed up or undressed are required?

Which hard are you going to choose today?

The hard that is saying โ€˜noโ€™ to the foods that you continue to crave, as you continue to make the wrong decision by eating them. Turn it around today, not tomorrow. Start to finally feel good about yourself as you begin to learn or relearn to flex those will power muscles.

Or

Continuing to eat what you want, when you want, because you are stressed or eating your own feelings. Ask yourself, does that help make you feel better? No. it never does. We all know it just makes you feel worse.

When will your food party end? Do you really need to โ€˜treatโ€™ yourself to foods that harm you. When is a โ€˜treatโ€™ not a treat? When it causes harm to your body and mood. Something thats adds excess fat and causes a post slump is not a treat to you or your body!

So, choose the hard that actually makes a difference and that starts to make you feel better about you!

Choose to stick to plan, and say no to the food and drinks that are not your health and weight loss friends.

Patience is always needed...it didnโ€™t all go on in a day, it wonโ€™t come off in a day.

If you stick to plan, and drink your minimum of 2.25 litres of water, stop letting the odd off plan food creep in, (or an accidental off plan drink ๐Ÿ‘€) then you will lose fat as fast as it is safely possible on The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan.

Patience along with consistency are key.

Strive for 100% everyday and you will be rewarded with a healthy weight and/or cm loss each week to help keep you motivated to continue. Donโ€™t get fixated on the number, and never compare. All the time you are trying your very best, thatโ€™s the only thing you need to focus on, your effort. Youโ€™re never allowed to be disappointed by the number if you have stuck to plan 100% as this is as fast as your body will go. You are only allowed to feel disappointment if you could have tried harder. However, remember a loss is a loss and another step forward in the right direction no matter what the number or speed is.

Keep focusing on the positives.

Please note, itโ€™s best not to weigh yourself everyday, unless you fully understand how weight loss works, and itโ€™s a positive thing for you. My advice is once a week, first thing in the morning on the same day, and the studies show that optimal max number of times is 2-3 times a week. If weighing everyday you have to be prepared to see weight fluctuations up and down, which can be attritubuted to hormones, water retention, periods, constipation and the weather! Also, not drinking your minimum of 2.25 litres a day.

Youโ€™re entirely up to you...focus and envisage that goal and donโ€™t stop until you get there... โœจ
