A lot of people come to me saying they feel constantly tense or anxious, like they can never properly relax — even when they have time to rest.
They’ve done the mindset work. They’ve tried journalling, talking it through, meditating — and still, something doesn’t feel right.
Often, the missing piece isn’t in the mind.
It’s in the body.
When your nervous system is dysregulated — which can happen from stress, trauma, burnout, or just constantly being ‘on’ — your body stays on alert.
Even when things are “fine,” it’s still holding tension, scanning for danger, bracing for what might come next.
You might not be aware it’s happening, but your body is doing its best to protect you — and it can leave you feeling exhausted, irritable, foggy, or totally shut down.
The good news is: your body can relearn what it feels like to be safe.
And when that safety returns, things begin to shift.
You don’t react as quickly.
You sleep more deeply.
You feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.
You start to move through the world differently — because your system no longer thinks it has to be in defence mode all the time.
That’s what we work on in session.
Whether it’s reiki, massage, EFT tapping, sound therapy, or a blend of everything, we focus on helping your body release what it’s been carrying — so that healing doesn’t just happen in your head, but through your whole system.
You don’t have to explain everything.
