TENSION TAMER - specialist Jaw, Neck & Chest massage -
Tension and stress can have a huge impact on our bodies and general wellbeing, affecting mood, sleep, focus and causing among other issues, pain, inflammation & muscle tension.
Often the muscles affected the most are in the neck, jaw and across the shoulders and chest and this area is not often directly addressed during a standard massage session.
This treatment is focused on these areas using specialist techniques combining deep tissue massage, hot stones, pressure points, Neurovascular holding points & stretching.
The Sternocleidomastoid muscle is a large muscle either side of the neck that connects the skull to the sternum and clavicle and can be the cause of many diverse symptoms including dizziness, balance problems, headaches, sinus issues, ear pain, tinnitus, hearing issues, sore throat, eye twitching, visual disturbances, chest and neck pain and more.
The Masseter muscle is a powerful jaw muscle often considered to be the strongest muscle in the human body. Tension builds in these muscles through jaw clenching, teeth grinding and general stress and anxiety leading to headaches, neck pain, jaw misalignment and difficulty chewing.
The aim of this new treatment is to reduce tension in these problematic muscles and therefore helping to rebalance the body, reduce overall stress, tension and anxiety and promote general wellbeing.

Case study . . .
The feedback from the body in a kinesiology session never ceases to amaze me ! . . .
Today I saw a lovely lady who I had last seen two years ago. She has recently finshed breast feeding after having two babies close together and is feeling fatigued, out of sorts, and struggling with weight gain. Her ENDOMETRIOSIS symptoms have come back with a vengeance making her feel very low. She thought her hormones might be out of balance, but her body showed me lead toxicity, a particular bacteria issue and leaky gut.
LEAKY GUT can cause hormonal imbalances as well as fatigue and inflammation so that made sense to how she was feeling, but I was baffled by the lead toxicity as it doesn’t show that often ( more common HEAVY METAL TOXICITIES are mercury, aluminium, nickel and cadmium) LEAD toxicity can come from being exposed to old paint / paint dust, water contamination from old lead pipes and some foods.
As always, I researched possible links between what her body presented to me and her condition and I was amazed to find studies showing the particular bacteria strain AND lead toxicity both have been linked to endometriosis. Apparently women with endometriosis often show elevated levels of lead and cadmium in their blood. And the bacteria has been linked to exasperating endometriosis symptoms.
Even the leaky gut which can cause inflammation has links to endometriosis.
As with so many illnesses, inflammatory conditions and diseases, focusing on healing the gut is paramount to optimum health.
This lovely lady was talking about having a hysterectomy as the next step to sorting her painful condition, but let’s see how this next step goes and the possibility of reducing or even eliminating her endometriosis symptoms. . . 🙏🏻☺️
I love that I NEVER stop learning, and from what I learn through working with one client, will hopefully then help many more in the future 🥰

I often mention the negative effects on the body of metal toxicity, but I’m finding more and more people showing negative effects from microplastics. These can enter our system from drinking from plastic water bottles, foods stored in plastic , microwave meals, cutting our food on plastic chopping boards or contained in products applied to our skin, which is the biggest organ for toxins entering our bodies !
Microplastics can interfere with our hormones, affect our gut microbiome, even enter our brain !
It’s important to be more aware of exposure to microplastics and make different choices how you buy/ store and cook food, how you transport and drink water and what chemicals are in body are products.

I’ve been using therapy tuning forks for a while now and even though I don’t hear them all clearly due to my hearing issues, I feel the vibrations. I’ve recently been doing Chakra Balances to clear blocked energy and noticing more and more how which Chakras are blocked on clients relate to that area they are having issues with.
Recently I’ve has 3 clients with reflux or chest tightness or congestion and all had blocked heart and throat chakras, - the area between the two being the throat, oesophagus and chest, and others with stomach or bladder issues had blockages in the lower 3 chakras- root, sacral and solar plexus. Blocked third eye or crown chakra seem to link to headaches etc.
Our chakras are connected to our meridians, which influence our organs, emotions and general wellbeing so it goes without saying that if our chakras are blocked it has a negative impact on our whole energy system.
I will be incorporating chakra clearing and balancing much more with other therapies now and I’m also now offering a chakra balance as an add on to other treatments for an extra £15. ☺️

As a kinesiologist so much of what I work with come from imbalances in the gut.
Many people experience gas, bloating and discomfort in the gut so looking at imbalances in the gut is the obvious plan of action . . . but how many people would automatically look to gut issues for skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne or fungal infections? I’m seeing it more and more, especially in the younger generation where gut imbalances also can affect hormones, mood, emotions, energy levels, confidence and so on.
Today I have been delighted to be sent some photos of a lovely female in her teens ( sharing with her and her mothers permission) before I saw her about 5 weeks ago and now after her following my suggestions for diet, nutrients and supplements. She is also currently doing exams which would normally exasperate her problem but the fact her skin has had such a dramatic and positive change from addressing issues I found to be gut related is so wonderful to see.
She wrote some lovely words to me saying how happy she is and how much more confident she feels and even feels her mood and energy has improved too.
If you have any issues you would like to discuss in relation to kinesiology, please message me ☺️

As a kinesiologist, I do NOT diagnose, treat or prescribe - and I definitely don’t have a magic wand 🪄!
With the skills I have learnt over several years (and continue to keep learning) I look at my role as a messenger- getting bio feedback from the clients energy system through muscle testing gives me an insight into possible issues and imbalances and using my constantly growing knowledge I can then suggest nutrients, herbs and / or diet adjustments that should potentially make positive changes.
I can also apply various techniques to help combat fatigue, anxiety, sleep issues, emotional issues and more.
There are no guarantees and I always recommend clients do their own research for anything I’ve suggested, but the feedback Ive had from clients over the past few years has at times been astounding. It’s lovely knowing what I do can, for most, make a huge difference to their health and wellbeing.

I have a late availability appointment for kinesiology tomorrow ( Wednesday) 10.15 due to a client having to postpone.
I’m offering this at a reduced price of £40 if anyone is curious how kinesiology might help them and wants to give it a go - inbox me - first come first served.☺️👍🏻

PROBIOTICS- there has been lots of research over recent years about how important a healthy gut is and how our gut microbiome has direct links with our brain and heart via the VAGUS nerve. Studies have shown that an unhealthy gut can not only cause digestive issues but also heart disease, degenerative cognitive functions leading to Alzheimer’s for example, inflammation and so much more.
I often suggest people should introduce good quality probiotics into their diet - many people think this just involves drinking a known brand probiotic drink but there are so many different probiotics that have different functions in our bodies and some that are almost disappearing from our gut microbiome due to modern diets.
Lactobacillus Reuteri is a probiotic with many benefits that is no longer in abundance naturally in our guts - it can help with immunity, skin, deeper sleep, better mood, muscle strength and much more and combined with -
L Gasseri it can help with reducing visceral fat and weight and with B Coagulans it’s good for strength and recovery. With L Casei and B Infantis it can reduce stress.
L Casei can help with mental clarity and focus
L Helveticus & B Longum can help with depression and anxiety.
This is just a small selection of the many probiotics and a small part of what each one can do in our bodies, showing their importance for so many different functions and needs.
Hopefully you can see how much we all need good bacteria in our bodies and how diverse they are for our health, both in body and mind !
Kinesiology can help establish what probiotics are beneficial for your individual needs. ☺️

KINESIOLOGY & CHILDREN
Over the past year I have worked a lot more with children, even young babies.
Kinesiology can be very effective in picking up imbalances in the energy system that can be easily corrected with either identifying nutritional needs or eliminating certain foods.
More often than not the child will benefit from probiotics as so many issues come from imbalances in the gut .
I’ve been able to help children with skin conditions, allergy related issues, bowel issues, anxiety, and more.
If you have any concerns over your child’s health and would like to look at a more natural approach, please inbox me for more information. ☺️

SLEEP ISSUES- It is common for people to wake or have disturbed sleep between 1-3 am , some people in the time after this period. In the energy system this is the time when the liver is most active or stimulated so if the body is dealing with toxins (such as a virus, heavy metals, parasites etc) this is when the body can be over stimulated. It can also be the cause of nightmares, bed wetting in children or adults needing to get up for a wee or just disturbed sleep. Addressing the cause can help sleep.
Also the circadian rhythm ( your sleep cycle) can be unbalanced which can also affect sleep patterns. This can be caused by stress amongst other things but often it’s blue light from phones, tv, computers etc that can cause issues.
Try coming off phone, tv etc for hour before bed.
magnesium can help with relaxation and sleep but not always absorbed in the gut effectively (especially if the body is dealing with toxins) so a magnesium spray or gel or Epsom salt bath might be more effective as magnesium absorbs better topically ( via skin) for many people.
Kinesiology can help to identify any of these issues and find a way to resolve the problem 👍🏻
Hope this helps a little 😊

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, Ive been training in how Toxic Metals can have a huge impact on our health. I’ve recently been to another incredible Kinesiology training seminar on the subject and want to share more in depth information on how some metals can affect us. I will focus on the most common ones and the ones I find problematic with many clients in my practice. Once these are identified, I then find the best remedy suggestion for your individual needs to help eliminate them from your body.

Firstly- ALUMINIUM- most widely distributed metal on the planet -
Many sources including -
-certain medications
-Foil and food cartons
-Deodorant and antiperspirant
-Saucepans, kettles, cookware
-Some foods
-vaccines

Linked to -
-Degenerative brain disease such as Alzheimer’s
-Osteoporosis
-high in eczema and psoriasis
-affects immune system

METAL TOXICITY- and how it might affect your health . . .
Toxic metals in our system can affect us negatively in a number of ways.
They can cause immune disorders;
Neurological & mental conditions;
Chronic inflammation;
Allergic conditions;
Disrupt hormones;
Reproduction & fertility issues;
Tinnitus and hearing problems;
Chronic fatigue syndrome;
Anxiety & Depression;
Learning difficulties;
Sleep disturbances;
Alzheimer’s;
Cancer;
Diabetes;
Thyroid;
And more -
So, how do they enter our bodies to cause these disruptions and problems?
Harmful Metals such as Aluminium, Lead, Mercury, Cadmium and Nickel can come from some foods we eat, absorbed from cookware, found in medicine and vaccines, dental metal in crowns and fillings, jewellery, pesticides and fertilisers used on our food crops, cosmetics, tattoo ink, body care products; household cleaning products and so much more . . .

Kinesiology can help identify if you have a problem with any toxins and help to find a suitable product to detoxify your body from any harmful toxins that might be affecting you.
