We don’t have discounts, we have one great price.
We don’t have sales, we have that great price every day.
We don’t have free delivery, we have cost price postage. (Technically we charge customers less than we pay due to the cost of packaging and increasing postage costs).
Don’t you hate it when you’re shopping online and feel pressured into buying something there and then as there’s a sale on and you worry you’ll pay more if you wait? Maybe now isn’t a great time and it would be better if you could wait until the next payday, but maybe you’ll have to pay more then. We hate that feeling too, so we don’t have sales. Ever.
Don’t you hate it when you’ve chosen your items but if you spend £xx you’ll get “free delivery”? Before you know it you’ve ended up spending double what you planned to, just to save some money. Pro tip, it’s not free. The items are more expensive to cover the cost. You’re still paying for it, it’s just being hidden from you.
When items are discounted when you buy more, that only helps those with more disposable income. It doesn’t help those that can’t afford to spend enough to qualify for free delivery. Bookworms was created to make books affordable for everyone, and we do what we can to help those that might not be able to afford them elsewhere.
