Thanks to everyone who took part in our sale event tonight.

If you've added a comment to a book you'd like, you should have been tagged in the reply to confirm if you were the first person to add the comment. If you haven't already, please send us a PM to let us know where you'd like the books to be posted and how you'd prefer to pay (Bank Transfer, Card Payment, PayPal). Tomorrow we'll send a photo of the books you've chosen and confirm if it can be posted Royal Mail at £3.50 or if it's too heavy and needs to be Parcelforce for £4.95.

If you weren't the first to comment, but you're interested in the book, please still add a comment. If we don't hear from the 1st commenter within 24 hours, or if we don't receive payment within 2 days, we'll offer them to the next person who commented.

Sorry everyone, I'm in Facebook jail again!

there's been so many comments on photos that Facebook thinks I'm a robot or that I'm spamming people so for now, I can't comment to confirm who has got the book.

We'll make a note though and will be able to confirm the books in the message to confirm the order.

If you’d like to purchase any of the books in our sale tonight, you’ll need to add the word SALE as a comment.

All damaged books are £1 each and delivery is £3.50 for anything up to 2kg and £4.95 for orders over 2kg.

Damages sale items can be added to online orders to save postage costs or can be collected if you’re local to our warehouse (S44 6WL).

Once you’ve chosen your books and added comments, send us a message to confirm how you’d like to pay and where you’d like them sending.

During our damages sale this evening, we’ll also have a “last one” sale too. These will all be brand new titles with no damage, but there’s just 1 or 2 copies left over. It takes up too much space in the warehouse to hold a shelf for just 1 or 2 so these will be sold for just £1.50 each. They’ll be listed in the discussion section of our Facebook event

Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend so far. We’ve had lots of sunshine today, which is good as my 2 boys are off on Scout camp this weekend. Scouts have a no technology on camp rule so I’ve made sure they both have a book to read and my eldest spotted this when he was helping in the warehouse after school last week and has taken it with him. He was really excited about doing some of the puzzles, however I’ve seen the event page for the camp and it looks epic! Doubt he’s has any time to do these.

If you’re part of a PTA and you’re planning a summer fair and you’d like Bookworms to be there, send us a message with the name and address of the school and we’ll check if we have a team member who can attend.

If you’re local to our head office, you’re welcome to borrow everything you need to run your own sale. No risk as no investment needed. No guessing how many you might need etc as we do all the hard work for you. We drop the books in school and collect them a week later. You can sell them during the event and also after school if you’d like too!

We’re running another of our popular damages sales next week.

If you’ve not taken part in one before, you’re in for a treat. During the next week, we’ll add photos to the discussion of the event. If there’s any that you’d like, join us at the start of the event when we’ll share a password on our socials, which will be needed to claim any books you’d like.

All of the books are £1 each and photos of the damage will be included.
