Trypanophobia is a specific phobia to medical needles.

Needle phobia is thought to affect atleast 1 in 10 people and can result in delayed necessary medical care.

What causes Trypanophobia?

There's no definite known cause, however, we do know that specific phobias can be a learned behaviour or they can be linked to past events.

Can hypnotherapy help?

Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool and can help us to change unwanted thoughts and behaviours.

Is one of your goals to reduce your alcohol consumption?

Too much alcohol can have unwanted side effects such as dehydration, headaches, weight gain or a broken sleep pattern, it also affects mood and our health and well-being.

The odd glass can be occassionally enjoyed but when alcohol is used as a coping mechanism to socialise, sleep or to switch off after a long day at work then an unhealthy relationship with alcohol can be formed.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help us change unwanted behaviours and gain back control of our life in a healthier way.

Tomorrow is said to be Blue Monday, it's the third Monday in January that's associated with feelings of sadness, low energy and feeling unmotivated.

If we start the day believing it's going to be as blue as what we're told then chances are we'll create a blue day.

Blue Monday is a myth, we can choose the colour of our Monday and make it as bright and beautiful as we want. The day can be a good opportunity to think about mental health, self care and wellbeing.
