Dedicated to raising awareness about mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy.

Did you know that 1 in 5 women develop a mental health condition during pregnancy or the in the first year after birth.

Raising awareness can help to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and encourage people to seek the help they need.

Maternal mental wellbeing is equally as important as our physical health. Below are some useful tips to help maintain emotional and mental wellbeing before and after birth.

🀍 Create a routine. Be flexible and include a range of physical, social and mental activities.

🀍 Look after your mind and body. Practice self care, keep active, sleep when you need to and maintain a healthy balanced diet.

🀍 Reach out for help.This could be your partner, friend, family or a professional. Remember asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
