Loving these “Face Behind the Business” post!
I think it’s the perfect time to introduce myself.
My names Emily and I’m the owner at EMTOLOGY - Medical Aesthetics Clinic💕 Alongside running a business I have recently qualified as a Staff Nurse & start my full time job as a Surgical Nurse next week!👩🏼⚕️
Prior to this I have spent 11 years working in the NHS & learning all things health related. I decided to go back to university at the age of 27 and give up my full time job in order to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. Throughout my training I developed a keen interest for Aesthetics & decided that I was going to be an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner. I didn’t know how, I didn’t know where to start or whether I would be able to afford training & building costs; would we get any customers, would I be any good at it, would spending all our savings on training and building actually be worth it?! “One risk after another, another silly idea”, but I knew that’s what I wanted to do and I was going for it.
The pressure from finishing a degree, working through a pandemic & opening a new business has resulted in many sleepless nights; but the stress has all been worth it to finally be able to say I LOVE WHAT I DO. To care for sick patients at their most vulnerable and to have a business to support people, to help reduce their insecurities & leave feeling like a million dollars when they walk out the door is priceless!💕
I genuinely feel that each and every client who walks through my door becomes like a new friend. I love the little EMTOLOGY community we have built already - full of love & support for each other💕
The dreams we’ve got for this year are just as big & I can’t wait to bring you all along with me!!💕🌈
