What do you call this week?

Limbo week, Dead Week …

You got a name for it?

It’s still easy to skip the gym this time of year and if you’ve smashed 2022 out of the park - this may be the right thing for you …

But for MOST people it’s not what I’d advise

This time of year you’re literally never more than a few feet away from chocolate…

And it’s easy to tell yourself "I’ll start in January".

The danger with this is that you’re letting complacency win, and accepting excuses instead of being proactive.

So this week if you’re not back to it yet …

Think about getting back into a training routine as being a priority.

By doing this you’ll have some training momentum to hit the ground running come January.

Otherwise, you will risk letting the complacency and the excuses win, and like 95% of people

You’ll be back to work, not in a training routine and you’ll also be trying to tidy up your nutrition - all at once!

Trying to do it this way:

- Will be harder
- You’ll have less chance of success

You’ll likely end up one of those people who have given up by the end of January and back to skipping workouts and eating s**t

Start the workouts now ...

Train hard
Train smart
and be ahead of the pack in January!

It's no secret that light and weather changes can have a significant influence on our mood. Sad right? 😔.
It’s crazy how the bodies circadian rhythm, or the roughly 24-hour cycle of wakefulness and sleepiness, is influenced by sunlight 🌗.
Decreasing amounts of sunlight causes the body to release hormones that trigger periods of lethargy 😴.
But isn’t it funny how the Scandinavians have a positive mindset, despite In Tromso, the sun not even rising at all for two months - WTAF! No seasonal depression there then lol 😂.
So while you can’t control the weather, you can control your attitude towards it!
Move more! Stress less and remember you’ve got this 💪🏻.

Gratitude is defined as a positive emotional reaction. It’s the appreciation of the valuable and meaningful things in our lives.
it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed or drained by life. Negative feelings and thoughts can creep in, which can make it difficult to see the positives.
It’s crazy how one simple practice of expressing gratitude, can help to alleviate these feelings.

Forget about your end result!
Crazy right? Goes against everything else that you read on here
Here’s why:
If an event happens, you’ll have an unconscious emotional reaction to it - fight or flight.
This emotional reaction is even stronger when an event doesn’t happen BUT you predict it.
Like stepping on stage. It’s unknown. So fight or flight response kicks in.
It kicks in before any rationale thinking. What if you damage your pride? don’t get lean enough? Trip, fall or s**t yourself?
Suddenly you’re emotional hijacked. You become inconsistent and illogical.
You start doubting yourself and stop enjoying the process.
After all isn’t the process the reason why you started this journey? You love the process and everything about it right?
So instead, start thinking what you can do in the next 24hours to achieve that end result.
Take control of the here and now, because the future hasn’t happened yet.
