💜 As a celebrant, I spend a lot of time with families who have been so positively impacted by and the amazing work that they do caring for patients and their loved ones.

💃🏻 So this year I signed up to do the Strictly Learn to Dance Challenge, dragging my poor unsuspecting partner along for the ride.

🪩 With just 12 weeks of practice before the grand finale on Friday 27th March we are (almost) ready to take to the dance floor. However we are still a little way off our fundraising target. If any of my lovely followers feel able to donate, no matter how small, we would really appreciate it 🙏

Lovely to meet up with some like-minded, strong, kind and passionate women today at the Covem: Ladies Empowerment Circles group and to listen to today’s speaker Namita. Delighted to have been able to share in Bolton's Funerals Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving yesterday evening. It was heartwarming to see so many families there and a privilege to be able to take part in leading the service. I’m very fortunate to work with the team at Bolton’s who always go above and beyond for all of the families they work with, showing them such care and kindness 💕

My name is Lisa Ball and I am the face and founder of Sakura Ceremonies. I work as an Independent Celebrant in the North West, Bolton born and bred with the local accent to boot! It is a real privilege to be able to support families at such a difficult time by creating a service that is heartfelt, meaningful and completely personal to them. It is so important to me that the families I work with feel completely heard and that the service I create is an authentic reflection of their loved one and what they meant to them, as well as an opportunity to truly celebrate their life. I always spend time with the families in person, planning how the service will run, answering any questions they may have and finding out who their loved one was to them. My services are written and delivered with care and empathy, as well as a little gentle humour or laughter if that's what you are looking for. Families can contact me directly or request me via their chosen Funeral Director. I'm also available to speak to people who may be facing the difficult challenge of planning ahead for their own funeral and are looking for some guidance or support.
