A gentleman was examined yesterday presenting with pins & needles radiating into his hand & fingers. He was previously advised of a trap nerve, carpal tunnel syndrome, twisted neck resulting in numerous physiotherapy sessions. After a thorough examination with no signs of an injury, he was advised to check his D3 & B12 levels that transpired to be extremely low were increased helping resolve the issue.

Experiencing "pins and needles," or paresthesia, can be a sign of a vitamin deficiency, particularly a lack of vitamin B12, which is crucial for nerve function, but other deficiencies like magnesium or calcium can also cause similar symptoms.
