β¨ Today marked my final wellbeing session with a beautiful group of Year 6 pupils.
We got creative, a little messy, and had some deep, meaningful conversations β all centred around dreams.
Together, we made homemade squishies to add to their "transition toolkit" β perfect for easing any stress or challenges that may come with starting high school. We also created scented sleep pouches, infused with rose quartz, rose petals, rosemary and lavender β a calming blend to support restful sleep.
We ended with a long, relaxing meditation that naturally led to a spontaneous chat about dreams β the sleeping kind and the big life ones too.
What Iβve witnessed over the past few weeks is just how much children flourish when given a safe space to speak freely. When they feel truly heard and validated, something magical happens.
As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to create that space at home β but perhaps schools could offer more of these gentle, holistic environments too?
This summer, Iβll be delivering wellbeing sessions at local holiday clubs and I honestly canβt wait.
