๐ŸŒบ What a fabulous group we had today at Daisy Hill CC, Community Garden for week 6 of our Free Carers group. ๐Ÿ€๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒฟ

One of our lovely Carers donated a huge Lily plant which we split into smaller plots to distribute.

Our 6 weekly sessions have been so successful that we have agreed to carry on with a fortnightly group, supported by Social Prescriber Julie, our friends at Bolton Carers Support and amazing volunteers Martin and Vickyโ€ฆ.. more info will be posted soon!

Plenty more chats, drinks and gardening to follow ๐Ÿฅฐ

Thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success ๐Ÿค—

Good morning!
Stablefold are having problems with their website so online triage is not working. So patients need to ring the surgery.
Apologies for this.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’š
Itโ€™s a good time to remind ourselves that mental health is just as important as physical health. Whether itโ€™s talking to someone, taking a break, or simply getting through the day youโ€™re doing enough.
If youโ€™re struggling, youโ€™re not alone.

Most young people wonโ€™t tell you theyโ€™re grieving.
But there will be signs.

If you work with young people, you will ๐Ÿ’ฏ come across a Grieving Young person.

Not always obvious. Not always spoken. But itโ€™s there.

This informative, up-to-date grief literacy workshop is designed for professionals who want to feel more confident in how they recognise, understand and respond to grief in young people aged 11โ€“16.

No scripts. No fixing.
Just real understanding and practical ways to support.

1st July 2026
High Schhol
2:30pm | 90 minutes

This is the first of four workshops focused on supporting young people.

Upcoming sessions will include:

* Primary age grief
* Supporting parents and carers (including their own grief)

Each session is fully funded by The Bolton Fund / Bolton CVS.
