We have added another cutting edge device to aid in achieving accurate and scientific analysis to be able to give you the most effective treatments.
Our medical skin scanner allows our medically-trained skincare professionals to provide a comprehensive and scientific assessment of our client's skin.
It involves using various light spectra to analyse different layers and characteristics of the skin.
* Multi-Spectral Imaging: The devices typically use different types of light, such as daylight, polarized light, and ultraviolet (UV) light, to capture images of the skin. Each type of light reveals different details that are not visible to the naked eye.
* Daylight: Provides a standard, clear image of the skin's surface, showing visible issues like spots, wrinkles, and texture.
* Cross-Polarised Light: This light source helps to visualise skin texture and blood vessels beneath the surface. It can highlight areas of inflammation or redness.
* Parallel-Polarised Light: This is used to analyse the skin's surface and the superficial layers, revealing fine lines, pores, and other textural irregularities.
* UV Light: UV light is particularly useful for detecting deeper issues like hyperpigmentation and bacteria (which can indicate acne). Certain skin conditions will fluoresce under UV light, making them more visible.
By combining these different imaging techniques and intelligent analysis, the skin analysis can provide a comprehensive and diagnostic view of the skin's health, both on the surface and in deeper layers. This information is then used by our medical skincare professionals to create a personalised and effective treatment plan and homecare regimen for our patients.
