Testicular cancer is most common in younger men, and early detection is highly treatable. How to check:
β€’ Check yourself once a month, ideally after a warm shower or bath πŸ›βœ¨
β€’ Gently roll each testicle between your fingers and thumb πŸ€²πŸ’™
β€’ Get to know what feels normal for you 🧠✨

What to look out for:
β€’ Any lumps or swelling 🩺⚠️
β€’ Changes in size, shape or texture πŸ“βœ¨
β€’ A feeling of heaviness in the sc***um βš–οΈπŸ’™
β€’ A dull ache or discomfort in the lower abdomen or groin πŸ€•βœ¨

A GP will review your request and offer the most appropriate care based on clinical need. This may be a face-to-face appointment, telephone consultation, advice, or referral.

⚠️ Reception will no longer book GP appointments directly.
⏳ Urgent cases may be seen the same day. Routine requests will be offered within 7 days.

If you notice changes, talk to your GP and tell them about any family history of cancer - not just immediate family, as broader history can help guide decisions about checks and referral.
