Last week we were delighted to have a visit from Bolton Wanderers Official players and legends, who helped to spread some festive cheer around the hospice in the run up to Christmas 🎄

Lots of our Wellbeing Hub and inpatient unit patients and their families were excited to meet members of the teams, who delivered presents, posed for photographs, and gave out autographs 🎁🤩

Karl and his friends have driven the full length of the country, from John O'Groats to Lands End in a car that cost only £1000, in memory of his Ma Gillian '1/2 Pint' Hambleton 🚘

Karl has smashed his £500 target, raising an incredible £715 to help other local families facing life-limiting illnesses - thank you!

Last week we hosted our annual Wellbeing Hub Christmas Party for our patients and their loved ones, filled with festive cheer, heartwarming performances, and special guests 🎅🎄🎁

The celebration kicked off with Christmas music and a quiz with festive prizes up for grabs, . pupils from St. Peter and St Pauls Primary School arrived to perform a selection of carols 🎶

After a delicious Christmas dinner, we were treated to two very special visits, our therapy dog Daisy and Santa himself, delivering gifts kindly donated by local business Amscreen 💜

We hope everyone enjoyed the festivities, and a fitting celebration for another fantastic year at the hub!
