Today marks the official handover of the keys to my new butcher’s shop At Ryders farm and I wish Dave and Veronica all the best in their retirement 🥩🔑. A huge thank you to family, and obviously you the customers (friends) who have supported me on this journey so far – it really means the world.

I Can’t wait to get started and welcome you all in this Thursday 4th September for the big opening

1 week until the new shop opens At Ryders farm and the come back of the famous pies

The count down is on…

Up till Christmas We will be doing just plate pies in chunky steak - mince - cheese and onion and a steak hot pot.

The shop at Deardens farm will be staying put and you will be able to grab your pies from there also 🤝👏🏻

Thursday 4th September we will be doing a soft opening At Ryders with a full cabinet display on for you to come and have a look (we can’t wait) there will be a dry aging cabinet with all your prime steaks in waiting for you 🥩

SO HOW MUCH DONI NEED!????

This is the most asked question that I get daily…. So heres a little guide for you that I think gives you all an idea for different cuts of meats.. because when you see mince 13.99 per kilo it looks confusing to
Some and I understand

‘how much do I need to cook a spag bol tonight for 4?’m

.. so get this saved and hope this helps you it’s a rough guide off the top of my head.

- 500g mince (4 adults spag bol)
- 4 chicken breasts diced (3-4 people for a curry)
- A good size Sirloin or rib eye steak around £10-£13 each (ATM)
- Joints - beef lamb or pork and gammon for roasting 1kg serves 4 adults
- 500g of our sausage is around 12 sausage (give or take)
