Safe Haven Bolton Providing person-centred, recovery-focused support for mental health & wellbeing

Seeing a growing need for specialist support around mental health and wellbeing in the Bolton area, we formed our organisation to provide person-centred support, with a focus on recovery to individuals affected by mental ill-health and their families. Built from the ground up, with a management team consisting of a psychologist and social worker, both of whom have extensive knowledge and experience working in mental health. We decided that we wanted to provide a service which not only offers holistic support like no other, but also gives back to our community to improve the lives of others.

๐ŸŒˆ Today marks the start of Neurodiversity Awareness Week! 16th - 22nd March.

This week is all about recognising, celebrating, and understanding the many different ways people think, learn, and experience the world. Neurodiversity includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and more. Rather than viewing these differences as deficits, Neurodiversity Awareness Week encourages us to see them as natural variations of the human mind.

At Safe Haven, we work hard to challenge stigma around neurodiversity and mental health. By raising awareness, offering support, and encouraging open conversations, we aim to help create a more inclusive world where everyone feels understood, valued, and supported.

Weโ€™re also proud to introduce Laura, our Neurodiversity Lead. Laura supports neurodivergent and mental health clients by offering guidance, understanding individual needs, and helping people access the right support and resources.

If you feel you may benefit from speaking with Laura or would like to learn more about the support available, please feel free to get in touch.
