Colleagues at Priors Hall Care Home were delighted to receive a 10 out of 10 score in reviews posted on carehome.co.uk which described the Corby care home as ‘excellent’.

On receiving the score, Lynsey Ballard, Home Manager of Priors Hall, said:

"The whole team is delighted with such fantastic reviews. It's extremely rewarding to hear the positive feedback from the families of those we care for every day.

It is a pleasure to care for our residents, and we take great pride in providing them with a happy, spacious and beautiful environment for them to enjoy."

Anchor - Primrose Court transformed its grounds into a vibrant festival venue for a day of live music dubbed ‘Primrosebury’.

The event brought the festival experience directly to the care home, with a full programme of musical acts. The free event was attended by residents, their families and people from the local community, who enjoyed drinks, ice creams, and a range of activities throughout the day including a tombola and party games.

Anchor - West Hall care home is proud to be working with Home Instead and Surrey County Council to bring local residents living with dementia a new opportunity to meet one another at their Dementia Connections Café.

Come along 10-11.30am on 16 September to enjoy a cuppa, light refreshments and great company in our welcoming environment.

What an amazing charity to work with - great communication and super quick getting back to our residents who needed some support!

Firstly we would like to give thanks to Julie Hall for allowing her staff at Halls Removals & Storage ,Platt Bridge, and her staff for continuously volunteering for the foundation when it comes to delivering pre loved furniture and white goods to our forces veterans and people in need.

This week alone we have taken 2 veterans off the streets.
We have provided furniture to a young mother, 2 families , 2 vulnerable people and 3 forces veterans, some residents of, Anchor - Topphome Court. We have assisted with referrals for veterans from Op NOVA Walking With The Wounded and the housing team from Armed Forces Community HQ CIC . This is a tiny bit of the work that has been done this week but gives the public an insight.Below is a list of the items given for FREE.

Washer x2, Fridge Freezer x2, Cooker x3, Chest Of Drawers x1, Wardrobes x2, 2 Sofa's ,3 Seater Sofa x1 , Armchair x1, Coffee Table x1, Microwave x1, Double Bed x1, Single Bed x4, Single Bed Frame x1, Bunk Beds x2 sets, Dryer x1, Cot and new quilt, TV Cabinet, Kettle, Toaster, Pots, Pans
