Livesey Funeral Service We are an independent family run funeral service. We are the longest established funeral directors in Bolton.

Established in 1848, and now over one hundred and seventy five years later, we are still owned and run by the Livesey family.

We are supporting this national campaign ‘Handled With Care’ to ensure people are better informed before making decisions. Local independent funeral directors are trusted experts who can guide families through all options, through early engagement and a greater appreciation of the role compassionate, professional local care plays in the grieving process.

At Livesey’s, we have been a family business since 1848 and we are happy to help families arrange the funeral of their choice, whether that is a simple direct local cremation or a full celebration of a life well lived. ❤️

As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

From 15 to 21 December we’ll be posting digital candles in memory of those who can’t be with us during the festive season. If you’d like to create a virtual candle, please click the following link where you can choose a design and write a short message to a loved one.

There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.
