Focus Awards Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF)?

The last date for registering learners on this qualification will be 31st August 2024. Once registrations have closed we will not be able to accept any late registrations. Learners will have 1 year from this date to complete and be certificated.

What is the qualification being replaced by?

The Level 5 Diploma in Education in Training is being replaced with the new Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills) from September 2024.

Why is it being replaced?

The new Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills) is being introduced in an effort to co-ordinate the qualification with these new developments. This will also enable individuals who are pursuing a career in the Further Education and Skills sector the opportunity to acquire a full teaching qualification by achieving occupational standards.
