SLOW DOWN AND GROUND . 🙏
Have you been feeling a little “off” the last week , maybe tired, irritated or emotional and you can’t put your finger on it 👆
It seems everyone I talk to feels the same way… so this week we will “Slow down and Ground “
There’s many reasons you could feel this way , the season is slowly changing , a lot is going on in the world and we can always blame the moon !
When energies are high we need to ground . 👣
We’ll start the practice with “Box breathing” it is fantastic for refocusing after a stressful day, it can lower blood pressure and help insomnia. 🤗
Physically we will use grounding inversions that focus on keeping the feet on the floor such as downward dog and standing forward bends .
This helps to build body awareness, confidence and a stable foundation by emphasising the connection to the earth ….Plus a few balancing poses which are always fun and help you to feel more balanced when you leave your mat . 💜
Grounding poses can stable the emotions and bring a sense of calm and peace to the body …along with a beautiful relaxation, mediation & essential oils … you’ll feel thankful you’ve given yourself the time to look after your whole wellbeing this week .
