🚨 Post-Op Care Matters 🚨

I’ve recently seen clients come to me after treatments elsewhere with irritation and even infection and I need to say this clearly:

✨Post-op lymphatic drainage should NEVER be deep
✨Oils should NOT be used on unhealed skin
✨Surgical tapes should NOT be removed early
✨Also, wood therapy is NOT suitable in early post-op stages, maybe suitable after 12 weeks. Depending on healing and the individual.

Using aggressive tools on a healing body can do more harm than good.

If it feels painful, intense, or leaves you sore for days, it’s not correct post-op care.

Your body is healing, not something to rush or “work harder” on.

Using oils (especially essential oils like lavender) on fresh or healing incisions can:
• Irritate the skin
• Trap bacteria
• Delay healing
• Increase risk of infection

Removing your tapes too early can:
• Reopen healing tissue
• Introduce bacteria
• Lead to complications

✨ Safe healing always comes first ✨
