This Volunteer’s Week we’re celebrating the incredible journey of James, a true inspiration at the Inclusive Hub.

Five years ago, Bank View School reached out to see if James, then a disengaged student, could join us for work experience. What started as a short term work placement has transformed into something extraordinary.

Now turning 20 this weekend, James has won awards, achieved an England Boxing Level 1 accreditation, Personal Trainer certification, and passed multiple hearing and visual courses through the Inclusive Hub. Today, he’s full-time paid staff at the Inclusive hub, making a massive daily positive impact on our members with his coaching and personal skills.

His journey shows the power of inclusion, opportunity, and community. We’re so proud to have James on our team, proving that with the right support, everyone can shine.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and partners like Bank View School for helping us create life-changing moments like this. Here’s to empowering more people through inclusive fitness and community sessions.💙

On Tuesday we were visited by Kayle Isaacs from The Inclusive Hub who are based in Liverpool. The Inclusive Hub provides bespoke fitness and education sessions to Schools throughout Merseyside. This week three Y9s enjoyed a fun based fitness session which helps to improve the academic and sporting abilities of pupils. We look forward to Kayle visiting the School throughout the academic year to support many pupils.

📣 We’re proud to announce we’re launching a new initiative, Creating Community Cohesion.
Thanks to our partner’s donations and fundraising, we can now offer food support for our local community in Bootle.

Gateway Collective will be supplying some amazing home grown produce and our sponsored football team Northern City JFC, will be collecting for our food bank every game they play.

Last week a childhood friend of mine passed away suddenly leaving behind 2 young children and devastated family / friends.

Motorvate is an employee programme which rewards good attendance. If Jaguar Land Rover hits its attendance targets each quarter, Motorvate benefits are triggered, and all employees are able to apply for funding or a car for a charity or local organisation which is close to their hearts.
