Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Toby Carvery, where they tucked into a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings.
Everyone enjoyed good food and even better company and conversation. We all reminisced on great memories we have had living in Forest Care Village.
Our smiles got even bigger after we tasted our desserts.
A lovely day was had by all, and we look forward to many more enjoyable outings together! 🍽️

Are you looking for a welcoming place to socialise, meet new people, and enjoy a fun afternoon in the local community?

At Forest Care Village, we are opening our doors every Wednesday for a FREE community coffee afternoon and prize bingo session. Whether you're coming on your own, with friends, family members, or neighbours, everyone is welcome to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon.

Today we celebrated two very special birthdays at the home, our lovely resident Peter’s birthday, and my own too! 🎂💛
A big Thank You to Gayle Frasier who treated us to a wonderful afternoon of music and entertainment , she had us all singing along, smiling and enjoying the atmosphere.
It was so lovely to see our residents laughing, reminiscing and joining in with the music together.
Happy Birthday Peter, and thank you to everyone who helped make it such a lovely day.

We are proud to celebrate Richard, our Activities Manager, for receiving an Above & Beyond Award here at Forest Care Village.

Despite going through treatment, Richard has continued to show incredible dedication, strength, and compassion, always putting smiles on the faces of our residents and supporting those around him every single day. His positivity, commitment, and caring nature have truly inspired both residents and staff alike.

This award is a reflection of the resilience and kindness he brings to Forest Care Village every day. A well-deserved recognition of his continued dedication and positive impact within the home.

Residents and staff members at Forest Care Village recently took part in an engaging fire awareness talk led by our Home Manager, Momarr. The session provided valuable safety information and helped everyone gain a better understanding of fire prevention and emergency procedures. Residents and staff also enjoyed taking part in an interactive quiz together, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. A big thank you to Momarr for delivering such an important and engaging session, helping to keep our community safe and informed.

Our residents got into the spirit of St Georges day today with some wonderful cake baking! From mixing to decorating there were plenty of smiles (and a little taste testing too!). A lovely way to celebrate together and enjoy some homemade treats.
