🎉 We are proud to celebrate our Head of People, Emma Norris, on achieving Fellow Chartered CIPD status. This is the highest level of professional recognition from the CIPD.

This accreditation reflects Emma’s outstanding contribution to the people profession throughout her 17-year HR career. To achieve this, Emma completed a rigorous video assessment with a CIPD assessor, demonstrating her leadership, impact, and expertise in the field.

Emma’s journey with Westgate Healthcare began as an HR Administrator at St Pauls Care Centre. After gaining valuable experience elsewhere, she returned in 2025 as Head of People. It was a full-circle moment that reflects her passion for care and her commitment to our people-first culture.

Through her leadership, Emma continues to strengthen Westgate’s people strategy. By investing in and empowering our team members, she helps ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care.

💈 A Fresh Trim & Big Smiles at Hampden Hall Care Centre! 💈

Last week, our gentlemen residents at Hampden Hall Care Centre enjoyed a very special treat - a dementia-friendly barber experience. ✂️

Keith, a professional barber with over 20 years of experience, brought more than just haircuts — he brought joy, conversation, and a whole lot of nostalgia. From hot towel shaves and classic aftershave to jukebox tunes and laughter, the day was filled with connection and confidence.

📍 Based near Borehamwood (where the minibus is kept overnight), you'll support our homes across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, London and Essex as needed.

Your role will include:
✅ Picking up and dropping off residents from our care homes
✅ Taking residents out whether it be social outings or everyday activities
✅ Providing safe, comfortable transport with a smile!

This is a flexible, bank position – perfect if you enjoy driving and making a difference in people's lives.

🚗 Clean driving license is essential
🧡 Experience with elderly people is a bonus
